Finalizing a Product Prototype |

Original Prototype Complex product development projects are fraught with delays and setbacks. But in many cases, agressive sales goals must be made up once the product starts shipping. That was the case with this product. The company needed to move forward on product sales materials, but did not yet have a final product in hand to photograph. That's when they called Regal Eye. We photographed the current prototype, and using engineering drawings as a guide, we digitally edited the image to resemble the final product. In this case, we made significant changes to the silkscreen label by repositioning some information, and adding the company name and catalog number. In addition, we digitally added missing components to the product that were not able to be installed on the prototype. Final Image after Digital Editing In the end, the edited image was indistinguishable from the final product. The Marketing Communications team was able to move forward with the production of promotional materials while the product was being completed. And the sales force was able to hit the ground running right at the product release date.Contact Regal Eye... |
