Nancy Medwell, an established portrait photographer located in Seattle, asked Regal Eye to create a new website to showcase her amazing talents and serve as an informational site for new and existing clients.

The site look and feel was based on printed literature that was already being used for promotion, providing a high level of consistency for effective branding of her business.  

One of the major challenges was presenting a large quantity of images on the site without requiring the user to constantly be clicking links or waiting for long download times. This was accomplished by using a roll-over script that quickly loads small thumbnail images, while loading the large images in the background. When the user rolls their mouse over the thumbnails, the main image window changes to that image. The photos were arranged by subject onto separate pages that are easily accessed from the menu on the left side of the screen.

The site also includes information and testimonials about Nancy Medwell, as well as an events section where information about upcoming appearances and workshops can be found.
